The story behind 1100ad

In 1100ad you create and expand your own mighty empire in the Middle Ages. Utilise resources, such as coal, iron, stone, wood and chalk, for construction and develop your castle as a symbol of your power. Construct new buildings, such as farms, marketplaces and granaries to increase your resources. Yet do not neglect your defences and your army. Barracks, stables, workshops and many other useful buildings will support your troops. Heroes can even be recruited to lead your army to victory and collect valuable experience points.

Trade and Alliances

In order to become even mightier, it is wise to make alliances. In 1100AD you can forge alliances, declare war on neighbouring lands or simply remain neutral. Trade can also play an important role, whereby you can rely on your own production abilities, or make agreements in order to guarantee a valuable exchange of resources.
